Privacy Policy

Dantès is a private AI-assisted tarot reflection product. This policy explains what information the service uses, why it is used, and how account deletion works.

Information you provide

Dantès may store your account email, optional profile details, saved people, relationship context, questions, generated readings, and the choices you make inside a reading. You decide whether to add optional personal or relationship context.

Readings and AI processing

Your question, selected reader, cards, and relevant context may be sent to Dantès’s AI service provider to generate the reading. Questions are not placed in the browser URL, made public, or sold as advertising data.

Account isolation

Saved people, profile context, reading history, usage records, and entitlements are associated with the signed-in account. Database access controls are designed so one user cannot read another user’s private Dantès records.

Purchases

Apple processes App Store payments. Dantès receives signed transaction identifiers, product identifiers, subscription status, renewal status, and purchase environment information needed to verify access and prevent fraud. Dantès does not receive your payment-card number from Apple.

Service providers

Dantès uses service providers for authentication and database hosting, application hosting, AI generation, and App Store purchases. These currently include Supabase, Vercel, Anthropic, and Apple. They process information only as needed to provide their services under their own terms and privacy commitments.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate accounts, generate readings, preserve optional context, enforce reading allowances, verify purchases, restore eligible access, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and operate the service. Dantès does not sell your account, question, reading, or saved-person data for advertising.

Account deletion

You can initiate permanent deletion inside the iOS app under Account → Delete Account. Deletion removes the Dantès account and deletes or anonymizes associated app data that Dantès is not legally required to retain. Apple purchase records and an active App Store subscription are controlled separately by Apple; deleting Dantès does not cancel Apple billing.

Retention and security

Dantès keeps account data while the account is active and as needed to provide the service. Some security, fraud-prevention, backup, or infrastructure logs may remain for limited periods or where retention is legally required. No internet service can promise absolute security.

Age and changes

Dantès is not directed to children. Users must meet the minimum age requirements applicable to their country, region, and Apple Account. This policy may be updated as the product, providers, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
